Welcome, and thank you for joining us on our jungle journey! We are excited to serve in Iquitos, Peru, with Iglesia Cristiana Menonita del Peru (Mennonite Christian Church of Peru), working with children's ministries, education, and gardening. We are serving through the organization Mennonite Mission Network and have signed on for a one-year term.

Iquitos is a large city of nearly half a million people located on the Amazon River. Known as the "capital of the Peruvian Amazon," it is the largest city in the world inaccessible by road; the only ways into or out of the city are by boat or plane.

We hope to provide regular updates on this blog so that you can follow along on this adventure and time of service. Your prayers, encouragement, and support are all appreciated. Thank you!
